Ashes To Ashes16/04/2010

Despite the devastating effect Iceland’s Volcano Eyjafjallajokull (ay-yah-FYAH'-plah-yer-kuh-duhl) is having on other forms of air transport throughout europe we are pleased to confirm that our balloon flights are lifting off as normal.

As we are operating one of the oldest forms of flight without reliance on jet engines our balloons are flying outside of controlled airspace just subject to their normal weather restrictions.

So if you have booked a flight with Cameron Flights Southern please just call your flight check line in the normal way before departure.

We cant promise to get the Quattro out for you as may have happened in the 80’s but we can get one of our modern balloons based on mans earliest form of flight and still found to be statistically one of the safest forms of aviation which just proves that inside every ballooning ash cloud is a silver lining.
