However recollections of prolonged periods of rain and very unsettled conditions still rings in most people’s mind. But in-between the downpours and the gales Cameron Flights flew more people than ever before. Rob Coles one of the duty managers says “We can all remember those barmy long summer days, weeks of high pressure dominating are school holidays.. Now we are getting short spells of good weather, we fly in-between the bad spells. This takes careful planning and weather appraisal” As far as 2009 goes, flights have continued to fly from the New Year onwards, with March starting off at full throttle! Let’s hope for a “retro” summer with those long barmy days again….. |
